Blimey, was it that long ago? I remember it vividly. I was at Uni at the time and that morning I was watching MTV (probably with a hangover) and Teen Spirit was on. It didn't say anything abouit his death.
A friend came round and said "have you heard Kurt Cobain is dead?".
I said "I know" bacuase somehow I did. Affected people of my age more than Lennon or Elvis (though \I remember their deaths too.
